Praised for her ability to “capture hearts” by Musical America, Georgian-American pianist Ana Glig has appeared as a soloist as well as chamber musician at various concerts venues such as Steinway Hall, Columbia University’s Faculty House and Roone Arledge Auditorium, NYC Consulate of Poland, Ukrainian Institute of America, Bohemian National Hall and NYC Consulate of Germany. Ms. Glig's performance highlights also include her concert appearances internationally at various concert venues in Germany, Estonia, Poland,Israel and her native Georgia.

As an orchestra soloist, Ms. Gligvashvili gave her debuts with Rishon LeZion and Evgeni Mikeladze Symphonic Orchestras (Israel, Georgia). Recipient of the second prize at Tel-Hai International Piano Concerto Competition (Israel) and Georgian Musician-Performers Competition among others, Ana is awarded Alfred Cortot prize for the best romantic piece at the Tbilisi International Piano Competition.

Born in Telavi, native of Georgia, Ana’s first musical impressions were of the Georgian folk song "Suliko," which inspired and influenced her early passion for music.

Ana Glig enjoys synthesis of various art forms. During her career she has presented the various concert-exhibitions of her own works along with the famous European artists' paintings.

Ana Gligvashvili holds Master’s degree in piano performance from Mannes College, The New School of Music and Bachelor’s degree from Tbilisi State Conservatory, Georgia. She studied with Victor Rosenbaum, Jerome Rose, Revaz Tavadze and Eteri Andjaparidze among others. Ana Glig recently graduated from New York University with Advanced Certificate degree in piano performance and pedagogy, she also served as a member of the adjunct piano faculty at NYU Steinhardt.

currently, Ana resides in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, where she frequently performs in solo and chamber settings and teaches. Among her favorite hobbies are road cycling and hiking.
