Anastasiya Chernovolos
Born in Lugansk (Ukraine) on April 15th, 1988.
In 2000, became a soloist of Lugansk Regional Philharmonic.
In 2002, was admitted to Lugansk College of Music to the Faculty of Solo Signing.
In 2004, was admitted to Lugansk State University of Culture and Arts to the Vocal Department.
Aged 14, started taking vocal classes with Elena Obraztsova and participated in her open master classes. Sang at the opening of the Second International Contest of Young Opera Singers under the aegis of Elena Obraztsova. Additionally, participated in master classes of such outstanding opera singers as Teresa Berganza, Renata Scotto, Gabriella Tucci, Fedora Barbierri.
In 2005, transferred to Voronezh State Academy of Arts to the second year of the Department of Academic Singing (Vocal).
In fall 2008, participated in the project Debut in Saint Petersburg. Sang the part of Tatyana in the opera Eugene Onegin and the part of the Countess in the opera the Marriage of Figaro on stage of the Opera and Ballet Theatre of Saint Petersburg State Conservatory.
In 2009, graduated from Voronezh State Academy of Arts (the class of Professor M.I. Podkopaev).
In 2010, completed a professional development course in Theory and practice of vocal performing art and pedagogy at Voronezh State Academy of Arts.
Since 2010, a soloist at Voronezh State Opera and Ballet Theatre, her repertory including: Dorinda (Handel’s opera Orlando), the Countesse (Mozart’s opera The Marriage of Figaro), Fiordiligi (Mozart’s opera Cosi fan Tutte), Tatyana (Tchaikovsky’s opera Eugene Onegin), Iolanta (Tchaikovsky’s opera Iolanta), Marfa (Rimsky-Korsakov’s opera The Tsar’s Bride), Nedda (Leoncavallo’s opera Pagliacci), Amelia (Verdi’s opera Un ballo in maschera), Listov’s operetta Sevastopol Waltz, Lehar’s operetta The Merry Widow,Strauss’s The Bat (Rosalinda)etc.
Achievements:
Received an award at the 7th International Contest of Opera Singers under the aegis of Elena Obraztsova (2009).
Winner of the theatre End-of-Season 2010-2011 Awards for Best Acting Debut as Tatyana (Eugene Onegin)
Winner of the theatre End-of-Season 2011-2012 Awards for Best Female Part in an opera (Nedda in Pagliacci)
