Arianna Tieghi

Arianna Tieghi Received a degree in clarinet from the Conservatory of Adria (Rovigo) in 2011 with Maestro Guido Arbonelli. She has won many national and international competitions as a soloist and also with clarinet ensemble. In 2009 she won a competion with ‘Tema sa varijacijama nr.2’ by Ante Grgin (Serbian contemporary composer), in 2011 two second prizes at ‘3° Concorso Internazionale di Esecuzione Musicale "Giovani musicisti" – Città di Treviso’ and "Sound Track" of Foligno.
In 2010 Arianna took part in the concert in memory of Ciro Scarponi in Perugia. She is comfortable in chamber music and plays in some different groups: solo clarinet, clarinet and piano, clarinet quartet, clarinet with string quartet, wind ensemble with or without piano etc Arianna made concerts in many italian cities: Adria, Cavarzere, Cesena, Ferrara, Macerata, Matera, Pavia, Perugia, Rome, Rovigo Salerno e Treviso. She founded the "Ebanyoung" Clarinet Quartet in 2006. They've cooperated with a team of search of acoustic 'Materiacustica' of Ferrara University since 2008. Their repertoire is very wide: classical music, transcription from opera, contemporary music, klezmer music, transcription by film and original for clarinet quartet.
Engaged in the dissemination of contemporary music and expanding the repertoire for his instrument, Arianna has had about 50 contemporary clarinet works dedicated to her from Europe, Usa, Brazil, China, Japan. She recorded some of these for a cd, with american and italian contemporary pieces, produced by ICIA (International Composers & Interactive Artists, USA).
