Boaz Galili

Boaz Galili is a musician and a composer, player of lyra and other traditional string instruments such as kamancha and tar
He Studied traditional music in Greece and in turkey. In tel aviv Israel in "hed" college of music he studied with the composer dr. piriz eliyahu among other teachers in the "roots" course of studying which included both western and eastern music.
His compositions and original music is influenced by the ancient makam(modal music) system from the east and by all of the very special music traditions which surrounds him, it becomes to be a unique "world" music style consisting of ancient and new, east and west.
Boaz is playing in a variety of music ensembles and in These days working on the project of his first album.
