Cvartet Capriccio

 
Capriccio Quartet consisting of four talented young ladies was founded in 2003, wishing to promote quality live music. Capriccio Quartet has performed at various events such as: receptions, launches, private parties, galas, exhibitions, cocktails, weddings, dinners, festivals, conferences, symposia, fairs.
With their delightful presence and magic music, they enchanted the audience within events such as: Launch of Audi R8, Launch of the Peugeot Showroom, Business Excelence Gala CCIR, Pantene Beauty Award, Sommer Fest, Launch of Cadbury Romania, Tvmania Awards, Launch of Volvo S60, Christmas Trees Festival.
Capriccio’s portfolio includes recitals in Romania as well as abroad. In 2006, Capriccio Quartet was invited to sustain a recital within the third edition of the festival “Women Creators of the Two Seas, the Mediterranean and Black Sea” in Salonic, Greece.
The year 2007 brought the girls a new challenge: the participation at Pantene Beauty Award Gala in an innovative concept: rock music, arrangements after Metallica and theatre after Shakespeare, moments directed by Mr Gelu Colceag.
In the summer of 2008, Quartet Capriccio was present at Sommer Fest, a top event organized by Mr.Roland Lohkamp, the ambassador of Germany in Bucharest, where they enchanted the audience with their exquisite performance.
In December 2008, Quartet Capriccio  together with Taxi Band sustained the musical production of  Tvmania Award Gala, under the direct coordination of Mr. Gelu Colceag.
2009 brought the girls an interesting collaboration with The Marker Band for the ballad “ If you didn’t love me”. The song participated in the contest “ The Golden Stag” and won the second prize.
In 2010, Capriccio Quartet again collaborated with Taxi Band for the recording of the song “Matematica imposibila”, one of the singles from Taxi’s new album “Cele doua cuvinte”.
Between social and private events, Capriccio Quartet was involved  in charity projects such as: Christmas Trees Festival along with Smiley, Andi Moisescu, Malvina Cervenschi, Dragos Bucurenci, an unplugged album “Hearts for other hearts” recorded together with other artists from the musical industry: Dan Helciug, Bodo from Proconsul, Nicola, Andra, Nicu Alifantis, Paula Seling, Lu Cozma, Byron Band and IWA Christmas Bazaar.
In 2011, the quartet joined the project “Roaba de cultura”, an unconventional cultural project which took place in Herastrau Park.
Capriccio Quartet’s aim is to change the public’s perception on classical music with their modern attitude and performance that offers a fusion of styles from classical music, jazz, café concert, international carols, ambient music to waltzes, tangos, entertainment music, traditional pieces, film music, pop and classical rock.
