Almost like a collage of movie scenes, a series of engaging and highly entertaining scenes bring this piece to life, but beneath the interested looks, smiles and laughter of the performance’s spectator lies a question we all are confronted with every day of our lives: What do we really want and what happens when we actually get it? In this performance two young women embark on a journey initiated by this question. Combining elements of Greek tragedy and modern theatre, incorporating dance and opera singing, different narration levels take the spectator through reality and imagination, divinity and humanity, dreams and everyday life.

“When these two women came out on stage they immediately won my heart. I was impressed by the highly professional, sophisticated and incredibly humorous performance.”
Walter Arlen, music critic and composer

"Certainly it was early 21th century and i was in an art and performance hall in Istanbul, sitting on a regular table busy writing when all of a sudden two lovely ladies, black from head to toe, approached; "Would you like to see our performance?" or something like that they said, very merrily, like two separate streams of same words are pouring out from a single mouth.  "Sure!" i regret a lot the other day for i missed it. Well, first it was okay. I mean two cool girls were acting in a way that not only made me feel brand new also made me ache to take photo. The problem started when through my view finder i saw Aphrodite and Libertas in that simple scene, instead of them. To get a real picture, i persisted snapping, but to no avail. Up until then i was so engaged with my sight that i had lost the sense of hearing, but as soon as i registered the voice, as if this remarkable dualism was not enough at all, something even more remarkable happened. I had been shot from an ancient age directly to the 20th century, then I fluctuated between the former and latter. War was over and our chic chevaliers left, but the sound is still singing in me. Can you imagine? I've been haphazardly passing between Samuel Beckett and Jim Jarmusch for all past 48 hours. Hence I’m unable to comprehend that tenacious tonality and grasp the totality of reality, I go satisfyingly through a phase of confusion. I mean in whatever way I have lost the sense of time and there is no cohesion anymore, though I am enjoying this state of perplexity." Ali Sanaei, writer/journalist

“The story seemingly taken from real life is full of sharp black humor brilliantly performed by two great young actresses.”
Thomas Macho, Director
