Born -16.02.1988,Warsaw.

Diana Lewtak is a student at Högskolan för Scen och Musik in Göteborg. Her violin mentors are Øyvor Volle, Tobias Granmo and Marja Inkinen-Engström. She is a graduate of the Zenon Brzewski Talent School in Warsaw; Bachelors- and Masters Degree at the Fryderyk Chopin Music University in the class of profesor Roman Lasocki.

She has received numerous prizes and awards in national solo competitions as well as in international chamber music competitions, including: J.S.Bach Competition, Poland (2005) - Special Award; Witold Lutoslawski Competition (2006) - 3 rd prize; Zarebski Chamber Music Competition (2006) – 1st prize; Chamber Music Competition, Sierpc, Poland (2006) – Grand Prix; Piano Chamber Music Competition, Czestochowa, Poland (2006) – Best Piano Ensemble Member; “Classic’s in the Street” Chamber Music Competition, Bad Ragaz, Switzerland (2009) –3rd prize.
On her artistic path she has met great artists with whom she has had the great privilage of having master classes, or playing chamber music together with, including: Konstanty Andrzej Kulka (Poland), Roland Baldini (Austria), Edward Zienkowski (Austria), Yair Kless (Austria), Sherban Lupu (USA),Paul Gulda (Austria), Piero Massa (Italy), Robert Szreder (Holland), Wanda Wiłkomirska (Poland), Gavriel Lipkind (Israel), Dora Schwarzberg (Austria), Pierre Amoyal (France), Jan Bjøranger (Norway), Evgeny Mogilevsky (Brussels), Håkon Austbø (Norway), Milan Vitek (Czech Republic), Christian Zacharias (Germany).

Since a few years her big focus is to get the best possible experience in orchestra playing. She has taken part both in youth- and professional orchestra projects including: Baltic Youth Philharmonic (2008- 2010; 2009 on a possision of concertmaster), Lutosławski Youth Orchestra (2008), RIAS Jugend Orchester (2008-2011), Warsaw Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra (2008,2011 also as a soloist), Junges Klangforum Mitte Europa (2009), Pan European Festival Orchestra (2009, 2011co-concertmaster), International Mahler Orchestra (2008- current), Swedish National Orchestra Academy (school year 2011/12), GöteborgsOperan (2012-2013 season), Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra (2012-2013 season).

In January 2013 she became a permanent member of the Sjöströmska String Quartet.

Diana Lewtak is playing on a young polish instrument “Diana” made by Wojciech Łukasz in 2002.
