Emanuele Buono was born in Turin in 1987 and as a very young boy he began to study classical guitar. At the age of nine, he entered the Conservatorio "G. Verdi” in Milan, attending the lessons of masters Paolo Paolini, Maria Vittoria Jedlowski and Paolo Cherici. In 2005, when he was only eighteen, he obtained a first class degree with honours, then he decided to perfect his preparation at the Accademia "Francisco Tarrega" in Pordenone, with masters Stefano Viola and Paolo Pegoraro, getting the Three Years Perfecting Diploma with the highest evaluation.
After that he attended the Accademia Chigiana courses in Siena, held by Oscar Ghiglia, achieving the certificate in merit and a study grant.Emanuele has won the First Prize in the most important international competitions:Concorso Internazionale di Gargnano (2008), Concorso Internazionale "Ruggero Chiesa" di Camogli (2008), Concorso Internazionale di Spalato (Croazia, 2009), Concorso Internazionale "Fernando Sor" di Roma (2010), Concorso Internazionale "Città di Seveso" (2010).

The First Prize was awarded after unanimous decision of the jury, composed of illustrious names like master Manuel Barrueco.In 2012 he won the first prize at the Concorso Internazionale Agustín Barrios in Nuoro, which allowed him to press his first CD as a soloist, with the international discographic major “Brilliant Classics”.Thanks to these recognitions, he was invited to give many concerts in the most renowned Guitar Festivals in Europe and the United States.
On 27 September 2008, during the XIII Convegno Internazionale in Alessandria, he was awarded the prestigious "Golden guitar" as the best young concert-master of the year.Recently he has given a concert in the very prestigious Konzerthaus in Vienna, getting the approval of the critics and numerous invitations to important musical events.
