Born in Germany in 1992, Eren Aksahin started playing Bağlama at the age of 15 years old. He took lessons from the Bağlama Erdem Beyazgül. In 2008 and the two following years, Eren is laureate at the Regional Competition in Germany “Jugend Musiziert”. Later, he is admitted at the Conservatory of Rotterdam “Codarts” to improve and perfecting his skills in the class of Kemal Dinc. Eren Akşahin appears in various events. He performed with STRADOC Ensemble at the Concertgebouw of Amsterdam. In 2013 he was invited to play as the second Bağlama with the Augsburg Philharmonic orchestra in 2013. Being attached to classical contemporary music, Eren does since 2013 experimentations and improvisations on Bağlama with various ensembles. In 2015, Eren graduated a Bachelor’s Degree in Bağlama. As part of the Kemal Dinc trio he performed in various Guitar Festivals and played new interpretations of Anatolian folk songs. In 2012 he began to work with the pianist Anahid Khatcheressian. Their focus was to merge the Baglama and the Piano and be able to interpret traditional armenian, anatolian, kurdish, turkish and zazaki Folksongs in a contemporary way by keeping the essential routes of those ancient musical traditions. in 2013 the duo Nor Ashkhar was found and worked together with various Artists such as Sakina Teyna, Vardan Hovanissian, Pierre Bedrossian, Emrah Oguztürk, Siwan Ahmet, Duygu Alkan and many others.
In 2015 Nor Ashkhar recorded their first Album with Sakina Teyna (Voice) and Emrah Oguztürk (Duduk, Kaval).
