ETTIE TEVEL (29) was born in Be’er-Sheva, Israel.
Orchestra Conductor, Arranger and Accordion Soloist.
Graduated from the Be’er-Sheva Municipal Music Conservatory
and majored in accordion and piano.
Ettie was given special permission and served in the Israeli army
as an outstanding musician.
Ettie won scholarships with distinction from
The America-Israel Cultural Foundation.

She was the head of the accordion department
at the Be’er-Sheva municipal conservatory,
musical director & head conductor of
The Israel Accordion Orchestra, Be’er-Sheva.

Tevel plays accordion as a soloist throughout the world.
She has played as soloist with the most important orchestras,
including The Israel Philharmonic Orchestra.
Moreover, Ettie plays at the Repertory Theatre in Israel:
'Piaf'/ Be’er-Sheva Theatre; 'Sigal'/Habimah National Theatre of Israel;
‘Between Friends’/ Be’er-Sheva Theatre;
‘Gorodish’/ The Cameri Theatre of Tel-Aviv.
She performed at the opening ceremony of the 19th Maccabiah.

Ettie serves as a conductor and accordion soloist of
The Israel Andalusian Mediterranean Orchestra.
In 2006, while she participated in the orchestra,
the orchestra won the prestigious national "Israel Prize".

Ettie holds four academic degrees.
Graduated from The Jerusalem Academy of Music
with distinction three academic degrees:
The first graduated in Israel to receive an
Accordion Performing Arts Bachelor degree;
Music Education and Orchestra Conducting.

Simultaneously to her music activity,
Ettie graduated with Master's degree
in Business Administration
from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
Today she is Ph.D. student majoring in
strategy and non-profit organizations
in the cultural institutions field.

Tevel is being an unusual figure in the music scene
in Israel and in general because of her combination
of classical and ethnic music.

In 2013, at the young age of 28,
she was invited to become the first woman
to conduct the orchestra in the traditional national ceremony
for Israel’s 65th Independence Day.
