Since his debut as a soloist with the National Chamber Orchestra of Moldova at the age of 15, Grig has performed as a soloist with orchestras including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in London, the National Philharmonic of Moldova, the Kings Chamber Orchestra and the National Youth Orchestra of Moldova. He frequently gives recitals across the UK, Russia, Europe and the Middle East.

Grig has been awarded a DipRAM prize for an outstanding final recital at the Royal Academy of Music, where he completed his MA with distinction on full scholarship. He plays on a 1780 Nicolo Gagliano violin.

Besides performing, Grig is passionate about inspiring the younger generation and is currently the Musician in Residence at Brentwood School in addition to deputy teaching at Junior Guildhall.
