Ia Davitashvili

Ia was born in 1988 in Tbilisi. In 2002-2006 she studied in E. Mikeladze School of Instrumental Music and from 2006 till 2010 in the Tbilisi Conservatory with( professor E. Arakelov.)
During her studies Ia won numerous scholarships and competitions, among them George L. Isakadze, L. Markiz and V. Spivakov scholarships.
As a soloists Ia collaborated with different Georgian orchestras, where she performed Mendelssohn, Wieniavski, Machavariani and Mozart violin concertos. In 2005 she gave various recitals in different cities of Germany and from 2008 she is a member of Tbilisi State Chamber Orchestra - “Georgian Sinfonietta” . Sinse 2013 she is invited musicion in ,,Consilia’’ , where she plays contemporary music. She also plays on the baroque violin.
She has also participated in several masterclasses with the likes of Ivri Gitlis, Liana Isakadze, Valentin Zhuk , Christoph Mayer…
