Idle Kings

Idle Kings are a London-based alt-rock band formed in 2012 by musicians who met while performing together on the set of Howard Goodall's show Love Story in London's West End. Composer Ian Anderson, vocalist Chris Killik and guitarist John Gregson were then joined by drummer Ciara Lavers, a session and touring drummer based in London.
Idle Kings are heavily influenced by artists such as Radiohead, Jeff Buckley and Oasis, but they draw inspiration from all the great pop/rock repertoire, and also from the entire classical catalogue in terms of melody, orchestration, and compositional structures and ideas.
In October 2012 they released their debut album, Fireflies. Plans for the future include touring and recording - they already have enough material to fill at least three more albums. They just have to find the time and the resources.
