Igmar Alderete Acosta.-a.- violinist and composer. He was born in Havana, Cuba, in 1969 Spanish Nationalized since 2000.
He began his musical studies of violin on the Conservatory of Music Manuel Saumell in the same city with the Russian teacher, Alla Taran, continued at the Conservatorio Alejandro Garcia Catúrla and finished at the Conservatory Amadeo Roldán, under the tutelage of Maestro Emilio Estrada.
He was member of the National Symphony Orchestra of Cuba, as Concertino (Alternate), combining with the Orchestra of Opera and Ballet of García Lorca Grand Theater of Havana.
In 1992, arrives in Spain and in 1994 became a member of the Orchestra of Córdoba. It ́Collage s in 1999 with the creation of the quartet "String Quartet " today "Race String Quartet" is when he turns squarely as an arranger and composer in classical music and wrote his first quartets
“Sones de América” for Marimba, vibraphone and string quartet, played by Katarzyna Mycka and Lotus String Quartet in April 2014 in Germany and recently published his fifth book, published by the Norsk Musikforlga, Norsk-percussion.
"Aires del Sur" work for solo clarinet, was released in June 2013, the Festival Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (Germany) by Matthias Schorn, soloist clarinet of the Vienna Philharmonic.

“Introducción y Guajira” 2nd movement of the "work for clarinet and string quartet".
In 2011 include the premiere of Quartet No. 1 "Cuarteto de Colores" by Havana String Quartet in Germany and the tour made by the United States. Also in this year the music recording of "Trio No 1 Brouweriano" by B3: Brouwer Trio in Los Angeles-California by RYCY Productions, and in June the premiere of the Symphony No. 1 "Influences" custom work of the Foundation and Author AEOS and Cordoba Orchestra, chief conductor Manuel Hernández Silva.
This year 2011 he won 3rd Prize at the International Composition Competition in Mexico José White for the work String quartet no 2 “ Gismontiano”.
In April 2010 the "Concerto No. 2 for Marimba and Orchestra" premiered at the International Marimba Festival 2010 in Minnesota (USA) by Carolina Alcaraz with the University Orchestra wiht Mark Russell Smith as conductor. Also in this year “Sones de América”
work for Marimba, vibraphone and string quartet was premiered at the Festival of Contemporary Music, Museum of Fine Arts in Mexico City by Javier Nandyapa and Fundamental String quartet.
Their catalog has several concerts in addition to those mentioned above. Concerto No. 1 "Mambí" for Trumpet, Bass Concerto No. 1 and Concerto No. 1 for cello.
2009, "Concerto No. 1 for Marimba and Orchestra" (which was premiered and recorded by Carolina Alcaraz and Cordoba Orchestra through support provided by the Maestro Manuel Hernández Silva and the institution itself).
“Desafío concertante” work for violin and saxophone quartet, premiered at the Palau de Valencia by Vasko Vassilev, and Adolphe Sax Grup.
"Concierto no 1 para Clarinete" y “ La Leyenda del Cimarrón” works premiered in February and June 2008 respectively, in the subscription season of the Orchestra of Córdoba. In this same year he released “Esquemas Rotos” work for string orchestra in the XI Festival Contemporary Music of Córdoba by Cordovan Chamber Orchestra with Irina Rodriguez as conductor.
His repertoire included the chamber Suite No 1 "Mosaicos" work for vibraphone, string quintet and piano, a work that premiered in the "XII Festival Contemporary Music of Córdoba ." by Caroliba Alcaraz and Ensemble música Viva.
