About Aurélie Jarjaye

Classical

Aurélie Jarjaye started music at an early age by learning the piano. She later gets her diploma at the CRR in Lyon in 2009. In parallel to this course, she began singing and she joined the young ensemble directed by Lionel Saw in the Maîtrise of Notre-Dame of Paris. She admitted in 2010 at the High School of Music of Lausanne in Switzerland, in the singing class of Hiroko Kawamichi. She obtained her Master of Concert in 2015 and the Fritz Bach Award for excellence of her performances at the High School. It also perfects in master classes with John Fiore, Martin Katz, Heidi Brunner or David Jones.

During her studies, she receives the grant from the Colette Mosetti Foundation, the grant from the Casino Barrière de Montreux and the Bourse of Cercle Romand Richard Wagner. She is currently laureate of study award Migros Culture Percentage for the year 2015-2016. She plays also the title role The Governess in The Turn of the Screw by Britten under the direction of Aurélien Azan Zielinski and stages Armand Deladoey.

She made her opera debut in the role of Mrs. Phidias in Phi-Phi Christiné for Route Lyrique 2014 on a Swiss tour, thé Opera of Lausanne and the Opera of Vichy.

Passionate about the concerts, can ne heard as soprano soloist in Little Solemn Mass of Rossini, Dvorak's Requiem, Honegger's King David or on Requiem Bottesini at its firsfirst performance on Switzerland on Geneva's Victoria Hall.

The 2015-2016 season was marked by her role of Princess at the Opera of Lausanne in The Child and the Spells of Ravel and his collaboration with the conductor Bertrand de Billy for a concert with the Orchestre National de Lorraine and Soprano Solo II in Ut Mass of Mozart with the Chamber Orchestra of Lausanne.
