Jerome Sabbagh Jun 21, 2013

Saxophonist and composer Jerome Sabbagh has been living in New York since 1995. He has recorded four albums as a leader, I Will Follow You, One Two Three, Pogo and North. He has three current projects: a quartet with Ben Monder, Joe Martin and Ted Poor that focuses on original compositions, a trio with Ben Street and Rodney Green that focuses on standards and a newly formed free trio with Ben Monder and Daniel Humair. As a sideman, Jerome has been involved most notably with pianist Laurent Coq's quartet and Guillermo Klein's Los Guachos.
Jerome Sabbagh has played with drummers Victor Lewis, Bill Stewart, Billy Drummond, Eric McPherson, Jeff Ballard, Ari Hoenig, Otis Brown III, Gerald Cleaver, Eddie Marshall, Andrew Cyrille, Eliot Zigmund, Jochen Rueckert, bassists Matt Penman, François Moutin, Matt Brewer, Reggie Workman, Darryl Hall, guitarists Steve Cardenas, Mike Moreno, Lage Lund, Gilad Hekselman, Vic Juris, Brad Shepik, Jonathan Kreisberg, pianists Jean-Michel Pilc, Danny Grissett, Bruce Barth, David Berkman, Pete Rende, Vincent Bourgeyx, Dan Tepfer, singers Elisabeth Kontomanou, Luciana Souza, saxophonists Miguel Zenon, Chris Cheek, Bill McHenry, J.D.
