Kees is a Bansuri player living in Haarlem the Netherlands
He is playing flute from a young age. The last 10 years he is giving concerts with a lot of Indian and worldmusic musicians. Currently he is studying with Pandit Guruji Hari Prasad Chaurasia and Pandit Alok Lahiri.
He is the co-founder of the group Shimayana, Paradiya and Helende Geluiden.
At the moment he is performing still with Kora player Albert Distelbrink and with India classical musicians all over the world
