Lisa was born in London and started the violin at the age of four. She entered Haberdashers' Aske's School for Girls and became a music scholar. She joined Junior Royal Academy of Music as the youngest student, won 1st prize in the Violin Prizes (in 1995 and 1996) and performed a Vivaldi concerto with the Royal Academy Sinfonietta. In 1997 she was invited to perform in the Piccoli Mozart Festival in the Teatro Verdi Opera House in Trieste. Her piano trio has performed at the Wigmore Hall, and also in the Yokosuka Bay Pocket Festival.
In 2000 she was invited to study with Professor Shimizu in Tokyo. She won 1st prize at the Yokosuka Bay Pocket Music Competition junior, and middle school section, 1st prize at the Nagano International Music Competition, 2nd prize at the All Japan Music Competition Tokyo section, and the highest prize in the All Japan Classical Music Competition.
She has graduated Tokyo University of the Arts high school, the same University and is currently enrolled in a Master degree. Further prizes include, a special prize in the Osaka International Music Competition, 1st prize in Ichikawa Music Competition, 1st prize (overall) in the Osaka Settsu Music Competition, and the Mayor Prize. She performed the Mendelssohn concerto with Toshiyuki Kudo and the Osaka Century Orchestra and music critic, Yoshimasa Kusakabe, remarked that her performance was "simply wonderful."
In 2010 she graduated Tokyo University of the Arts with honours, was awarded the Douseikai prize and performed in the Sougakudou Hall. She took part in a masterclass by Volkhard Steude (Vienna Philharmonic concertmaster) in the Suntory Hall to critical acclaim.
Lisa took a two year leave from Toyko University of the Arts to study with Pavel Vernikov at the Vienna Konservatorium Privatuniversitat. She was selected by Maxim Vengerov to take part in the 14th Wieniawski International Violin Competition in 2011 through an audition in Bergamo, and was highly regarded for the beauty in her tone. In 2012 she was invited by Pavel Vernikov to enter the Yampolsky International Violin Competition and was awarded the "Cultural Award" and the Ganbaru Citizen's award from Osaka, Matsubara prefecture.
This year she was selected to become a student of violinist Julian Rachlin. Her performance at the final recital gained the highest mark from every jury member, and was highly praised for her notable artistry. She has performed concertos and recitals in Vienna, London, Osaka, and Tokyo. As a member of the Geidai Chamber Orchestra, she has performed with Kiyoshi Okayama, Aoyagi Susumu, Avo Kouyoumdjian, and Rainer Honeck (Vienna Philharmonic Concertmaster).
She has studied with Yumi Sasaki, Yfrah Neaman, Gerard Poulet, Takashi Shimizu, Asako Urushihara, Pavel Vernikov, and chamber music with Amiram Ganz.
