Manohy Narimanana

Manohy Narimanana is pianist, guitarist, composer, performer Malagasy. Born of musician family. Lulled by the music from her younger ages, structured by consistent training between concerts and exciting studies. She began piano at age 6 with her mother Ravaka Narimanana, the guitar at 8 with her father Narimanana. Evolving in Madagascar, she studied most of the methods and the works of the great masters of the piano. At 12 years old she already composed.
Recognized also, as a guitarist, she follows and deepen her study with her father. Based by the classical guitar, she starts her career at 13, like a classical guitarist performer. The influence by her brother leads her to another music than classical, since she plays variant music, like the flamenco, a technical guitarist that really attracted her, where she adopted a personal touch in her fusion music. She composes with this instrument with which she was really fallen in love.
She began her career as a performer at the age of 9 with great success in interpreting "For Elise". At this age, her participation in concerts of Narimanana has structured her and built largely her musical training of her quality of multi-instrumentalist. She has a vast repertoire at the piano, from classical to jazz and contemporary, as such as for the guitar, this course steered her towards another horizon «the composition".
Thus, in her compositions appears a reflection of these trends.
At the age of 16, she is overwhelmed by the composition and had already more than 50 compositions and his perseverance made Manohy a rare bird of modern piano music composition in Madagascar. She released her first cd of her compositions for piano in 2013.
Currently, Manohy, devotes her times, by giving piano lessons, concerts and compositions, without forgetting her quality of multi-talents. She plans to release new albums recently.
