Born in Messina, Mario Galeani is considered among the most important and active italian pianist and he dues his musical formation to the well known pianist Aldo Ciccolini.
From very young age he dedicates himself to the concertism, giving tourneé which bring him to perform as soloist in all Europe, in North and Central America, in Middle and Far East and in North Africa for some of the most prestigious world musical centres such as the Zurich Tonhalle, Cadogan Hall of London, Munich Gasteig, Athens Mitropoulos Hall, Catania Bellini Theatre, Edmonton Winspear Concert Hall, Metz Arsenal, Palacio de Festivales of Santander, Cairo Opera Theatre, Milano Verdi concert hall of Conservatorio, Vilnius Opera Theater, Erfurt Mozart Kuppel theatre, Northampton Royal and Derngate Theatre, Torino Verdi concert hall of Conservatorio, Taormina Greek Theatre and for important international Festivals such as Alghero, Baden Baden, Catania, Dubrovnik, Emilia Romagna, Erfurt, Estoril, Gressoney, Huy, Ljubljana, Nafplio, Salonicco, Santander, Taormina and Wien.

On 1997 he is invited in Japan by the “Franz Liszt Society ” for a tourneé of concerts in Osaka, Ashiya and Nagoya, with a great success of critic and pubblic.
On October 2004 he performs in Mexico with a fantastic success of critics and public at the 32° International Cervantino Music Festival, representing Italy together such important artists as Uto Ughi, Claudio Scimone - Solisti Veneti and Amati quartett.
On August 2004, he makes his debut in the wonderfull Taormina Greek theatre playing Schumann Concerto op.54 with the Royal Philarmonic Orchestra and with the same orchestra Mario Galeani debuts in England on November 2004.
On August 2005 he is invited at 54° Santander International Music Festival to perform with Yuri Bashmet and Moscow Soloists.
On 1988 he creates and is appointed as artistic director of “Naxos Musica” International Music Festival in Sicily since 1994, when the Festival has his last season.
On 2004 he is appointed as Music Adviser of “Taormina Arte” Festival.
He records for the Italian label PHOENIX CLASSICS, for which he recorded on 2005 a cd with Chopin four ballads, op.22 and op.61 with a great success of critics in the most important music magazines.
On April 2008 it is published a cd by RPO Records of London in which he plays Beethoven 4th and 5th Piano concerto with Royal Philarmonic Orchestra conducted by Grzegorz Nowak and it is presented in England in a public concert at Cadogan Hall of London.
The cd with Beethoven 4th and 5th concertos was reviewed by “Classical net review” as one of the best interpretations of last decades and compared to the recordings of Kempf and Baremboim of the late 1960’s and early 1970’s with Bohm and Klemperer respectively.
On November 2010 it is released the second cd with Beethoven 1st and 2 nd concert and it has been presented in March 2011 in a public concert at London Cadogan Hall.
On April 2012, Mario Galeani finishes the Beethoven complete piano concertos recording with RPO, so he is now the only one among living italian pianist who have realized such project with Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
On May 2013 the CD is released and it will be presented in England during a public concert on November 7th 2013 at Cadogan Hall in London.
His concerts are recorded by international broadcasting companies such as RAI (Italy), RTVE (Spain), France 3TV, RTP(Portugal), SWR(Germany), NBC(United States), CBC(Canada), EURORADIO, RADIO CLASSICA, RTV(Bulgarian and Romanian), HRT(Croatia), ETV(Egypt) and RTM(Mexico).
