Melodi Kayis

Classical violinist and singer&songwriter Melodi Kayis was born in Ankara. She studied violin at the Manhattan School of Music in New York City, and completed her bachelor's degree of violin in HFM Detmold, Germany, where she was awarded with a scholarship. Later on, she has achieved her Master's degree of violin at the Konservatorium Wien Privatuniversität in Vienna.

She has performed in various international music festivals in Italy, France, Spain,
Germany, Austria, Cyprus, Turkey, and the United States of America.

She had her solo debut concert with the Presidential Symphony Orchestra in Ankara at the age of 18. She also performed with Izmir Symphony Orchestra, Antalya Symphony Orchestra, Cukurova Symphony Orchestra, and Bursa Symphony Orchestra, not only as a classical violin, but also as a singer of popular&jazz genres in crossover concerts.

She recently continues her academic career at the Konservatorium Wien Privatuniverstitat where she studies her second master degree of Master of Arts Education. As creating her own music has became her biggest interest, she continues to work on her upcoming projects with her own songs, meanwhile playing weekly concerts as a classical violinists mostly in Vienna.
