was born in Skopje, Macedonia. She began her musical education at the State Music High School “Ilija Nikoilovski – Luj”. She had shown her strong affection for music from very early age. Her first accomplishment in the music world was winning the first prize at the “State Music Competition” in 1996. At the age of 17 she made her opera debut at the Macedonian Opera and Ballet, the national theatre, in the role of Shepherd in“ Tosca ”.She continued her studies at the Faculty of Music Arts in Skopje in the class of Prof.Biljana J.Jakimovska, finishing with a Bachelors Diploma in 2004 with the highest performance marks Cum Laude. Further classes followed with well known professors: KS.Olivera Mijalkovic, Prof.Mirella Parutto and Prof.Claudia Visca.She made her professional debut in 2005 in Macedonian Opera Theatre, singing the role of Rita in Donizetti’s “Rita”. Engaged as a young singer she sang the following roles: Elvira in “L’Italiana di Algeri”, Ester in “The captivation of Eunice Williams” from P.Kimper, Flora in “The Turn of the Screw” and First boy in “Die Zauberflöte”.Parallel to her Opera appearance Milena Arsovska has been an active concert performer. She has performed as a soloist with the Orchestra of the Macedonian Opera and Ballet singing “Opera Gala Concerts”, “Stabat Mater” G. Pergolesi, “Carmina Catuli” C. Orff and taking part at the “Ohrid Summer Festival”, “Skopje Summer Festival” and lot of other projects organized by the theater.In the season 2007/08 she had great success with the Multimedia project “Dorothy- Disconcert of Oz” with Fanny & Alexander Theater Company at the Turnee through Germany and Italy.In October 2011 Milena received Opera Master Diploma attending postgraduate studies at Vienna Conservatory Private University in the class of Prof.Uta Schwabe and Prof.Michael Pinkerton. During her Master studies she took a part in few opera productions: Eurydice in “Orpheus in der Unterwelt”, Pamina and Papagena in “Die Zauberflöte” as well as Lauretta in “Gianni Schicchi”.Selected as a soloist in Arnold Schönberg Choir, she sang with Wiener Kammerorchester in “Chichester Psalms” by G. Bernstein and “Fantasy c-moll” op.80 by L.van Beethoven conducted by Erwin Ortner.Solo recitals and Chamber music concerts like “Macedonian songs” in Gallery MC in New York City, “Spanish songs” with guitar in Macedonian Opera Theatre and Recitals in Niigata and Kashawazaki, Japan were followed during her studies. Her voice was used also in two soundtracks for motion pictures “The Great Water” and “The war is over”.Beside her second prize at the “International OEJAB-Music competition” in Vienna (2010), she received scholarship from “Herder- Stipendium” (2010), won second prize at the “Dostal-Operetta competition” in Korneuburg (2011) and she was finalist in “Leyla Genzer Singing competition” in Istanbul (2012).Already during her studies she made her debut in Theater an der Wien with the episode role in “Die Fledermaus”. There she got the second guest engagement in the “Il Trittico” production singing Seconda Cercatrice in “Suor Angelica” (2012).In the summer of 2012 she was seen as Zerlina in “Don Giovanni” and Blonde in “Die Entführung aus dem Serail“at the “Sommertraum-Festival” in Semmering.In the season 12/13 she performs like Adele in “Die Fledermaus” with Razumovsky Ensemble in Casino Baumgarten Vienna.
