The band has an unique sound: jazz mixed with young and dynamic pop music, including the old traditional sound of the 50´s. This combination makes the band sound like no other! PIERO BIANCULLI
born in the south of Italy in august 1978, grew up in the South of France (Côte d’Azur) where he began his musical career studying with French jazz masters like Robert Persil. In 2003 Piero continued his musical studies in Holland at the Rotterdam Conservatorium CODARTS where he met musicians that became good friends and so the Bianculli Trio became a fact! After a just few years, the Bianculli Trio won the Jazz Award in Rome in 2010. Next to his jazz concerts he also performed in several pop shows in which he developed his singing and entertainment skills.
Bianculli Band is born in 2010
At the end of his musical studies, the jazz background and the pop experiences merged into the Bianculli Band. The extension of the band with one of the best Horn sections Holland has to offer, the Bianculli Band finally got the perfect sound combination between jazz, pop, soul and original Italian music.
Since then the Bianculli Band created a general interest in their music all around Europe playing already in Dutch jazz clubs and jazz festivals (Dizzy Rotterdam, North Sea Jazz Around Town) and small beginning in Italy (Perbacco jazzclub, Taranto).
CD ALBUM BIANCULLI BAND’SOLO’
Due to the enthusiastic response of the audience, Piero Bianculli decided to make an album with his band called ‘Solo’. This album is expected to be released end of 2013, beginning 2014.
After the album release the Bianculli Band will plan a tour around Europe, with concerts at the major festivals.
