Quatuor du Soleil

The Young Quartet "Quatuor du Soleil" performs a lot of classical, romantic, barok and contemporary music.

Yury Revich is a newcomer in Baroc Music world, collaborating with many baroc singers and performers, and there is a number of work by European, Chinese and American composers written and dedicated to Yury.

Lukas Medlam comes from a family, where each member used to play in a family quartet, and the very big attention was always to barok and contemporary music, Lukas is an established composer himself, his works are regularly performed on european stages and his Quartets are in the concert repertoire of Quatuor du Soleil.

Steffan Morris is a very gifted cellist, and some of main directions of his repertoire are old baroc sonatas and contemporary music.

Jasna Simonovic, serbian viola player always had a dream of playing in a barok ensemble, and now she is also discovering the wonderful new music, of composers of the 21st Century.

So when all four members of quartet have met each other, they understood immediately- they have the same musical dreams.

From the very beginning  the quartet had an enormous potential and after their debut performance they began receiving many offers to preform in major festivals and halls in Europe like Austria (Musikverein Vienna), Greece (Parnassos Concert Hall, Athens), Russia, UK etc.

Quartet is member of Yehudi Menuhin Foundation Austria and Beethoven Society Vienna.

All four members of the quartet are winners of many international competitions and are very successful in their individual carriers.
