Radu Valcu

Radu Valcu was born in Bucharest, Romania in 1989. He started the study of classical guitar at the age of 12 at George Enescu Highschool, with professor Liviu Georgescu. He graduated from the National University of Music in Bucharest, the class of composer Prof. Catalin Stefanescu-Patrascu in 2014 and continued his master studies in the same university under the coordination of Prof. Catalin Stefanescu-Patrascu. He also attended the master classes of Carlo Marchione, Pablo Garribai, Alexis Muzurakis and Gerhard Reichenbach.
He obtained more than 30 awards in festivals throughout Europe and was invited to concert in major cities of Romania, as well as in Grece, Germany, Netherlands and United States.
