Rita Corica was born in Rome and from her guitarist father inherits a great passion for music. She studied singing and piano as a child, and then singing with Maria Luisa Maragliano of Genoa, she studied with Mrs. Lucetta Bizzi of Parma and Mrs. Katia Ricciarelli. She graduated first at Academy of Dramatic Arts in Rome and then enters the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory in Venice. By lyric soprano voice is warm and full possession of remarkable vocal range and agility. sang throughout Italy in concerts as a soloist and after debut as Violetta in La Traviata by G.
