Tae Jong Park

Tae Jong Park received Bachelor and Master’s degrees in composition in Korea National University of Arts and Music (KNUA).
He is currently the Director of Ensemble BE and also taught at KNUA, Sang-Myung, Sook-Myong, Yonsei and Sungshin University.
He has received awards in the following competitions:
- Grand Prize at the 11th Ahn Ik Tae Foundation Composer Competition in  2004
- Grand Prize at the 8th The Korean Symphonic Works Composition Competition in 2005 (Han Min Jok Chang Jak)
His work has been accepted at 2007’ ISCM World Music Days in Symphonic works Category in Hong Kong and 2008’s 2nd Orchestral Composition Festival in Korea.
Also, Tong Yeong International Music Festival commissioned chamber music work in 2008, and Seoul Arts Center Orchestra Festival commissioned an orchestral work in 2009.
In 2010, his work has been accepted at 2010 Asia-Pacific Contemporary Music  Festival in Symphonic works Category.
