Honored by the revered title of "Steinway Artist", Vincent LARDERET has attracted international recognition for the exceptional intensity of his performances. Praised for his “amazing sensitivity with the lyrical line” (The classical shop, UK) and his “multi-timbred” sound (Fanfare, USA) "makes the piano equal to an orchestra" (Classica, France) with a wide range of pianistic colors, The Star in Canada described: “his playing is remarkable for its ease as well as style. Larderet overcomes with panache." Nominated for the "International Classical Music Awards" 2012 and "Classical Revelation" by Adami winner at MIDEM 2003 in Cannes, he is also considered to be one of the leading French pianists of his generation. Vincent Larderet’s eclectic repertoire stretches from Scarlatti to Boulez. He also ardently favors French music and lesser-known composers such as Scriabin, De Falla, Schmitt and Szymanowski. In 2007 he performed a series of recitals dedicated to Beethoven and especially distinguished himself with the “Hammerklavier” Opus 106 and the Opus 111. He also participated in the complete live recording of Beethoven's Sonatas for a prestige DVD set published by Piano Passion. He studied in Paris with Carlos Cebro who passed on to him the stylistic heritage of Vlado Perlemuter. He worked Ravel's music on Perlemuter's scores annotated after his collaboration with the composer. He completed his training at the National Conservatory of Music in Rueil Malmaison where he won the “virtuosity Prize” and perfected his Art at Lübeck’s Musikhochschule in Germany with the famous pianist Bruno-Leonardo Gelber. He is a prize-winner in several international piano competitions including Maria Canals in Barcelona, A.M.A Calabria (in Italy under the jury of Lazar Berman) and Brest. He is also laureate of the “International Orpheum Foundation for young soloists” in Switzerland. He has performed worldwide at prestigious venues in recital and concerto with orchestra including Zurich’s Tonhalle, Barcelona’s Palau de la Musica, Hong Kong Cultural Centre, Washington's National Gallery of Art, Potton Hall (UK), Cannes Palais des Festivals, Eglise Saint Eustache, Cité de la Musique, Salle Ravel and Salle Pleyel. Invited to perform at renowned international festivals (including Schleswig Holstein Musik Festival, Festival Pianistico Busoni, Berlioz Festival, Dinard Festival, Boulez Festival, La Roque d'Anthéron, La folle journée and les Pianos du Nouveau Siècle), he also appeared in chamber music with distinguished artists including the Debussy Quartet, the cellist Sol Gabetta, the pianist Michel Dalberto and West Side Quartet, his group for 2 pianos and percussion. He has collaborated with such esteemed conductors as Salvador Brotons, Eric Lederhandler and Daniel Kawka. He is regularly invited as member of the jury at various international competitions and gives Master Classes. In 2014 Mr. Larderet is promoted "Honorable International Artist-in-Residence” & “Artist-Faculty Member” at the Hong Kong Music and Performing School. His recordings released by ARS Produktion, NAXOS, Chandos, INTEGRAL Classic to have won prestigious Awards including the Classica’s “CHOC”, “MAESTRO” of Pianiste, RITMO’s 4 stars, Resmusica’s “CLEF” and Pizzicato’s “SUPERSONIC”. He is also responsible for major World premiere of Florent Schmitt (La Tragédie de Salomé) and Maurice Ravel (3 excerpts from Daphnis et Cholé).
