About Zeljka Milosevic

World Music Classical Pop

Born in 1985. in Kragujevac, Serbia, Zeljka got her first interest in music in an early childhood age. Later on she continued to pursue this passion of hers by attending elementary music school focusing on desk Accordion, and also a higher music school but this time with focus on a desk Theory.

Since 2001. she started playing the celtic harp and in 2013. graduated Harp at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad in the class of Professor Staša Mirković Grujić.

In 2008. she successfully graduated Sound recording and design of the Academy of Arts, Belgrade and now is working as a teacher in the same direction in the High music school "Petar Konjović" in Sombor (www.dizajnzvuka.artmreza.com). Also, she is working as a Harp teacher in private school (www.harpomania.com).

The 2011. she specialized Management of Culture and Art at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences in Belgrade.

Currently also works as director of the Association of artists "Art Network" (www.artmreza.com) from Novi Sad and the deputy director of Association "Fabrik Art" (www.fabrikart.org) from Belgrade. Both associations advocate for the research of art and culture, prosperity in the field of information, promotion of works of authorship, raising awareness about the contents and protection of culture and art, collaboration with artists from other countries and cultures. Also she is organizer of the international educational projects within the European Program "Youth in Action" where is art used for non-formal education and for increasing social inclusion of young people.

In addition to classical music enjoy playing and composing pop-rock, experimental/ambient and Irish-Celtic music. Celtic harp playing and composing for six years in the multimedial group "Feabrik" (www.feabrik.com). From 2013. she is playing pop music in “Le duo” (www.leduo.rs) and meditative music, solo, live on yoga classes (www.yoga.harpomania.com). With a group Feabrik performed at various international festivals and symposiums at home and abroad. Here are some that stand out: Israel: Rotary Youth Peace Conference 2014; Greece: Workshop for children 2011; Hungary: symposium "Impro Artsympo Prive" 2010; Romania: European International Book Art Biennale 2010; Turkey: Festival "Art for Peace" 2009; Greece: Art Symposium "Zone Zero" 2009; Germany: Festival "Moved Wind" 2008; Serbia: Stretch media biennial 2007.
